ABOUT ASRI
Almajiri School Remodelling Initiatives (ASRI) works to provide a viable and sustainable solution to Almajiri and Almajiranci problems. ASRI recognises that parents have the ultimate responsibility to raise and cater for their children. ASRI also recognises that parents, the Governments, Almajiri Malams, Traditional rulers and the general public must discharge their responsibilities in order to end this menace. But until we get to that stage, there are millions of innocent victims whose future is at risk and are going through humiliation day in day out and they need urgent humanitarian help! It was therefore noted that it is not enough to rehabilitate victims of the Almajiranci or revamp the Almajiri system of education; our intervention must be total and comprehensive.
